Con el tiempo, el DPF debe limpiarse mediante un evento de regeneraci\u00f3n que quema el holl\u00edn acumulado durante el funcionamiento normal del veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante la regeneraci\u00f3n del DPF, las temperaturas de escape pueden exceder los 1,184\u00b0F (640\u00b0C) debido a la r\u00e1pida combusti\u00f3n catal\u00edtica. (Fig. 10) Debido a las altas temperaturas de escape creadas por los eventos de regeneraci\u00f3n, es posible que se observe un olor fuera del veh\u00edculo o dentro de la cabina de pasajeros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16412\" src=\"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/F10-diesel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"740\" height=\"480\" \/><strong>Fig. 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algunos olores intermitentes pueden describirse como un fuerte olor a hule, que puede ser causado por el escape que calienta la cera del marco a temperaturas que conducen a la emisi\u00f3n de olores (aproximadamente 170\u2013200\u00b0F, o 76\u201393\u00b0C). El fuerte olor a hule estar\u00e1 presente s\u00f3lo bajo las condiciones adecuadas. No reemplace el escape ni ning\u00fan componente por esta condici\u00f3n normal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>CONSEJO:<\/strong> En veh\u00edculos nuevos con poco kilometraje, tambi\u00e9n puede haber un olor distintivo debajo del cofre durante las regeneraciones iniciales del DPF.
