Comenzando con el modelo 2018, se agreg\u00f3 un c\u00f3digo QR a la etiqueta de certificaci\u00f3n (Fig. 3) en todos los modelos Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet y GMC. El nuevo c\u00f3digo QR incluye el N\u00famero de identificaci\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo (VIN), c\u00f3digos RPO y otra informaci\u00f3n que identifica el contenido del veh\u00edculo. En modelos anteriores, la etiqueta de Identificaci\u00f3n de partes de servicio (SPID), a menudo ubicada en la cajuela o la guantera de un veh\u00edculo, inclu\u00eda esta informaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El c\u00f3digo QR bidimensional es un sencillo c\u00f3digo de barras que ofrece la informaci\u00f3n SPID anterior en formato digital. La Etiqueta de certificaci\u00f3n en todos los modelos GM est\u00e1 ubicada en el poste B del lado del conductor, a excepci\u00f3n del Corvette, que se ubica en la puerta del conductor.<\/p>\n

Lector de c\u00f3digo QR<\/strong><\/p>\n

El software para leer el c\u00f3digo QR est\u00e1 disponible com\u00fanmente para cualquier tel\u00e9fono inteligente Android, iPhone o Windows. Muchas aplicaciones b\u00e1sicas se pueden descargar gratis. Los lectores de c\u00f3digos QR probados y que son f\u00e1ciles de usar incluyen NeoReader de NM LLC, i-nigma de 3GVision, QR Scanner de Honestly App, QR Droid de DroidLa y Bar-Code de PW2. GM no recomienda ning\u00fan software en particular.<\/p>\n

CONSEJO:<\/strong> Si se necesita conservar la informaci\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo para los registros de servicio o para compartirla con otros, la mayor\u00eda de los programas de escaneo tambi\u00e9n tienen una funci\u00f3n para enviar los datos por correo electr\u00f3nico.<\/p>\n

Para concesionarios de EUA, un Esc\u00e1ner OPTICON Bluetooth Companion (2D Imager), n\u00famero de herramienta PX-20, est\u00e1 disponible a partir de www.gmdesolutions.com. El esc\u00e1ner funciona con un cable USB o se conecta por medio de Bluetooth a una laptop.<\/p>\n

Se agregaron m\u00e1s c\u00f3digos RPO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Una vez que se escanea el c\u00f3digo QR, la informaci\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo aparece en el orden siguiente: n\u00famero VIN, a\u00f1o de modelo, modelo, mes de producci\u00f3n, a\u00f1o, libro de ingenier\u00eda, n\u00famero de orden de veh\u00edculo, c\u00f3digos RPO de 3 d\u00edgitos ordenados alfanum\u00e9ricamente y el c\u00f3digo de pintura (el c\u00f3digo de pintura tambi\u00e9n aparece en la parte inferior izquierda del c\u00f3digo QR). Las comas indican separaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n; sin embargo, los RPO no tienen separaci\u00f3n de coma. En su lugar, los c\u00f3digos est\u00e1n separados por un espacio. Los c\u00f3digos RPO tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n en negritas en el ejemplo, pero no en la informaci\u00f3n real mostrada a partir del c\u00f3digo QR.<\/p>\n
