La bater\u00eda libre de mantenimiento t\u00edpica est\u00e1 completamente sellada excepto por dos peque\u00f1os puertos de ventilaci\u00f3n en el lado. Estos puertos de ventilaci\u00f3n permiten que escape el gas producido en la bater\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En aplicaciones con un tubo de ventilaci\u00f3n sencillo, la abertura de ventilaci\u00f3n opuesta en la cubierta de la bater\u00eda debe estar tapado por medio del tap\u00f3n de ventilaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Las bater\u00edas que requieren ventilaci\u00f3n incluyen un tap\u00f3n de ventilaci\u00f3n removible, que se puede insertar en el puerto de ventilaci\u00f3n que est\u00e1 opuesto a la manguera de ventilaci\u00f3n que gu\u00eda al exterior del veh\u00edculo. El tap\u00f3n de giro est\u00e1 conectado a la tapa de la terminal positiva. (Fig. 16) Presione el tap\u00f3n de ventilaci\u00f3n en la bater\u00eda para asegurar el asiento adecuado en el puerto de ventilaci\u00f3n.
